My list of books for Debut Author Challenge 2012

This is being hosted by Kristi  over at at The Story Siren. This is the first Challenge that I am taking part in, and it seems really fun. I love discovering new authors, and also authors who are new at writing in the genre.
The challenge will run from January 1, 2012 to January 31, 2013 and the goal is to read 12 YA/MG books that are from debut authors (or authors new to that genre) between that time. If you want more info you can find it at The Story Siren.


There are so many books that sound really great that are coming out next year. It was really hard to narrow down my list, but I also have to keep in mind there are a lot of sequels to books I have read coming out next year too, and I need time to read those. Also new books coming out from non-debut authors that I am looking  forward to. So my list is as follows. (with links to Goodreads so you can add them to your list if you want)

So that is my list of books I will be reading for DAC 2012. It was really hard to try to pick 12 out of the wonderful list of DA's books. If I have time I would like to read more too, but those are the 12 I have chosen. Some of the other ones I would like to read if I have time are:
