Waiting on Wednesday / WWW Wednesday 12-28-11

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine  to share what book you are highly anticipating the release of.

This week the book I am really thinking about is Shadow Bound by Rachel Vincent. There are a lot of books that are next in a series coming out in 2012, but this is one I am really excited to read. I loved Blood Bound and can't wait to get my hands on this one.

  • Publisher: Mira
  • Publication date: 5/22/2012
  • Format: Mass Market Paperback
  • Pages: 400

If you live in the dark long enough, you begin to forget the light…

KORI DANIELS is a shadow-walker, able to travel instantly from one shadow to another. After weeks of confinement for betraying her boss, she’s ready to break free of the Tower syndicate for good. But Jake Tower has one final job for Kori, one chance to secure freedom for herself and her sister, Kenley, even if that means taking it from someone else…

The job? Recruit Ian Holt—or kill him.

Ian’s ability to manipulate the dark has drawn interest from every syndicate in the world, most notably an invitation from Jake Tower. Though he has no interest in organized crime, Ian accepts the invite, because he’s on a mission of his own. Ian has come to kill Tower’s top Binder: Kori’s little sister.

Amid the tangle of lies, an unexpected thread of truth connecting Ian and Kori comes to light. But with opposing goals, they’ll have to choose between love and liberty…

In Blood Bound we get to meet Kori, but really don't know much about her. (That book is from Liv and Cam's PoV)  She is pretty much a mystery still. I love that in Shadow Bound we will be in her head and this new guy Ian's too. It sounds awesome, and I love Rachel Vincent's books.

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
I am currently reading: Delirium by Lauren Oliver and still listening to the audio book of Legend by Marie Lu. I only listen to it in the car so I am just over half done.
I recently finished reading: Unearthly by Cynthia Hand and Zombie Tag by Hannah Moskowitz. You can read my reviews by clicking on the book titles.

Next I think I am going to read: 10 Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski and if it comes in, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. I still want to get to Ashes by Estevan Vega soon too, I meant to read it last week.

What are you waiting on? What's your WWW Wednesday? Leave me your link so I can check yours out.

  7. This watch uses a super titanium material, of swiss replica watches course, is quite a component! Official information from the point of uk replica watches view, but also the thickness of a watch. At the same time to watch is also equipped with a omega replica safety lock, on the whole, is a comparative aspect diving table. Of course there is no watch, tend to have a better price, compared with the previous CITIZEN price, the price of hublot replica 2300 dollar watch, obviously is CITIZEN in the aristocracy!
