Waiting on Wednesday/ WWW Wednesday 1-11-12

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine  to share what book you are highly anticipating the release of.

I am really looking forward to Black Heart (Curse Workers Book #3) by Holly Black. I loved the first 2 books.

Overview

Cassel Sharpe knows he’s been used as an assassin, but he’s trying to put all that behind him. He’s trying to be good, even though he grew up in a family of con artists and cheating comes as easily as breathing to him. He’s trying to do the right thing, even though the girl he loves is inextricably connected with crime. And he’s trying to convince himself that working for the Feds is smart, even though he’s been raised to believe the government is the enemy.

But with a mother on the lam, the girl he loves about to take her place in the Mob, and new secrets coming to light, the line between what’s right and what’s wrong becomes increasingly blurred. When the Feds ask Cassel to do the one thing he said he would never do again, he needs to sort out what’s a con and what’s truth. In a dangerous game and with his life on the line, Cassel may have to make his biggest gamble yet—this time on love.

If you haven't read the first two books yet, you really should. It's excellent! And the good thing is, that you will get the re-done covers so your set will match. I am glad I have them on my nook. I will buy the full set with the new covers. I personally liked the old covers better, but the new ones are cool looking.

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading: Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I bought it when it came out and never got to it. It is on my list for the 2012 TBR pile reading challenge so I will be working towards my goal.

I recently finished reading: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer (look for my review on Thursday), New Girl by Paige Harbison, (review to post on Saturday), and Fracture by Megan Miranda.

Next I am going to read: I honestly don't know. I have a bunch of books that I just ordered that I want to get to, and a few review books to read. I really want to read The Alchemy of Forever, and that should be in by Thursday or Friday.

What books are you reading or waiting to read? I would love to know. Leave a link in the comments and I check it out.

    1. I agree. I like the original covers much better. I think that they went with the story. The new covers are cool, but they aren't as good.

My blog is now an award free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but stopping by is reward enough for me. Thank you so much!!
