Waiting on Wednesday / WWW Wednesday 1-4-12

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine  to share what book you are highly anticipating the release of.

My waiting on Wednesday this week is Hallowed by Cynthia Hand. I just read Unearthly recently and really loved it, so I can't wait to read the next in the series.

Overview

For months Clara Gardner trained to face the fire from her visions, but she wasn’t prepared for the choice she had to make that day. And in the aftermath, she discovered that nothing about being part angel is as straightforward as she thought.

Now, torn between her love for Tucker and her complicated feelings about the roles she and Christian seem destined to play in a world that is both dangerous and beautiful, Clara struggles with a shocking revelation: Someone she loves will die in a matter of months. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that the fire was just the beginning.

I absolutely loved Unearthly. You can read my review here. I can't wait to find out what happens next. And I am definitely Team Tucker!!

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer. I am excited to see how the story is going to end, but sad at the same time, because I don't want it to be over. (I have heard there will be a companion series though)

I recently finished reading: Delirium by Lauren Oliver, Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have by Sarah Mlynowski, Legend by Marie Lu, Never to Sleep (Soul Screamers Novella) by Rachel Vincent, and Notes to Self by Avery Sawer. Wow, I read a lot in the past week. To be fair though, I was already almost done with Delirium and Legend, and Never to Sleep is a short Novella. ;)

I think next I am going to read: Under the Never Sky (ARC) by Veronica Rossi. (Assuming it comes in. The tracking number said it was supposed to be here last Friday.) There are other books I am thinking of reading too, but I am still undecided.

What are you waiting for this week? Leave me a link in the comments. I always am curious as to what everyone else is looking forward to and what they are reading.

  13. I didn't read it until now because I thought it was going to be like Fallen, which I didn't enjoy. When it went on sale for $0.99 for nook I decided to try it, and I am so glad I did. I already pre-ordered Hallowed.

My blog is now an award free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but stopping by is reward enough for me. Thank you so much!!

I have been getting a ridiculous amount of spam comments so I have disabled anonymous comments. If you are an anonymous user and a real person, I apologize.

I love comments! I will try to respond to as many as I can. I read every one of them, even if I do not respond to them all.
