Top Ten Tuesday (1)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by  The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a different topic for the Top Ten.

This is my first Top Ten Tuesday and I am so excited about it. See, I'm really bad at choosing my favorites for anything so I have never done it, but it's about time I hopped on board.

This week the Top Ten topic is Books that broke your heart a little.

I am probably going to stick with recent books, because it will hurt my brain to try to think too far back. These are not my Top Ten, but just ten that come to mind, in no particular order.

1. Not necessarily a book, but Rachel Vincent's Shifters Series. OMG! I must have bawled my eyes out so many times through those books.  The covers are gorgeous too! I had to put them up. Besides, I think these books take the cake for ultimate sobbing!! Like boxes of tissues worth of tears.

2.Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. There were many tears though those books.

3.The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

4. The Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent. She really has a way of making my heart break! Most recently with If I Die.

5. Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

6.Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. Her other books have made me sob like a child too.

7.Delirium by Lauren Oliver

8.The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

9.Hallowed by Cynthia Hand

10. Everneath by Brodi Ashton

I am so excited to have taken part of my first Top Ten Tuesday!! It was hard to think of books, so I had to keep them recent. Much love to all of you!! Happy Valentines Day too!! ♥♥♥

    1. The Statistical Probability isn't really a heart-breaker, but there are some slightly heart-breaking moments. In general it is a really beautiful and happy read.

  6. I agree with a lot of those! And I also agree that it's hard to play favorites, especially with books.

  7. Oh, I love these picks--especially HALLOWED and CLOCKWORK PRINCE! I sobbed like a baby during both. I reread HALLOWED recently and totally did it all again, hah.
