In My Mailbox 3/25/12 Ahhh The Immortal Rules!!

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren to show what bookish things you have gotten in the past week, or month, or however frequently you would like to do it.

Okay so I first want to say Happy Hunger Games opening weekend!! I hope you have all had the pleasure of seeing it!! It is amazing! I need to see it again! I didn't buy any books this week, but I won a book and got some for review.

All sound really awesome, and OMG!! The Immortal Rules is one of the books I have been most looking forward to! I started reading it immediately. Thank you to Kendall, NetGalley, Entangled Publishing, and Harlequin Teen.

Okay, I know I'm short, but still that's a big poster! (It goes all the way to the ground from where I am holding it. I love it. I was thinking of hanging it on the wall behind my computer.

    1. I'm about 30% into The Immortal Rules and I am loving it! I am hoping to finish in the next 2 days. I am a slow reader though lol! I just saw The Hunger Games again last night!!! I really love that movie. :)

    1. I am very excited about my books this week. Actually all three of the review books are getting pushed up my list. I started Pretty Amy while I was in line for The Hunger Games, but then went back to Masque of the Red Death lol. I was indecisive. I liked the first chapter though, it seems like it's going to be really good. The writing is fun, and very "teenager" so I was already starting to feel the characters.

    1. I know! I couldn't believe the theater people gave it to me. I am ridiculously excited over The Immortal Rules. I am reading it now and it's so good. I have been dying to read this book! Pretty Amy too, I am going to be diving into that very soon.

    1. Thank you! I actually requested The Immortal Rules from the pub about a month ago and didn't get it, so when I saw it on NetGalley I was really excited especially since I am auto approved for Harlequin Titles.

    1. OMG I was dying, like an ache in my heart and had to see it again. It helped for a little bit, but it's coming back again lol. I am going to go nuts with it when it's out on BluRay haha!! I am going to be reading Pretty Amy soon. I actually started it when I was waiting in line for THG but went back to Masque of the Red Death.

  14. I'm reading the Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa now. Have you read that series? I'm wondering if I'll like The Immortal Rules better. My IMM

    1. Yes, I have read the Iron Fey Series and I loved it. I am only about half done with The Immortal Rules, but I really love it too. I can't say if I like it more or not because they are completely different, and The Immortal Rules is also just the first book.

    1. I guess the figured the least they could do was give me a poster since I was there for so long. The theater wasn't even open when I first got there. I was waiting in the mall outside the theater doors haha!!!
