Weekly Recap / Stacking the Shelves (5)

*Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Hi guys!! Wow! Can you believe that it is almost June. This year is just flying by. I had a slow week, which is fine by me. I have a lot of books to read. I am also doing pretty good at sticking to my book buying ban. There are a few books coming out in the next few months that I already have pre-ordered or intend to buy, but I am going to try not to impulse buy for a little while. So onto my books and weekly recap. Oh, and hope that everyone has a good Memorial Day!! Since I am home with the kiddo anyways 3 day weekends don't mean a day off for me.

Lol!! What a great shot to freeze on. It seems it's always the worst shot haha!! My daughter is also making some noises in the background through the whole video and it's pretty cute. I had a hell of a time getting this on the blog. YouTube was not cooperating at all. The first time I uploaded it, it cut the sound after 2 minutes, then the second time the server kept not responding. Hopefully the video works okay since it was such a hassle getting it on here.

Books Mentioned

Glimmer by Phoebe Kitandis (Won from Books to the Sky)
Suffocate by S.R. Johannes (Purchased ebook from B&N)
Dreamwalker by Andrea Heltsley (For review for blog tour from Supagurl Book Tours)
Croak swag from Gina Damico

Big thanks to Kaitlyn and Jenny from Books to the Sky, Phoebe Kitandis, Andrea Heltsley, and Heather from Supagurl Books.

Weekly Recap

This week on the blog I had three reviews. Revived by Cat Patrick, Struck by Jennifer Bosworth, and Of Poseidon by Anna Banks. I also had a cover reveal for the new cover of My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by  Rachel Harris. I love the new cover. The weekly memes I participate in, Teaser Tuesday, Waiting on Wednesday, and my Saturday Silliness feature. I had a Guest post with the author of Sykosa too. I also go an a bit of a rant about book piracy and am doing a giveaway for an ebook copy of Inhale by Kendall Grey.

That is what happened this week on BLM. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I appreciate all the visits to my blog. Love ya!! Leave me a link and I will check out your posts.

    1. She is very awesome!! I was so excited for it. I am trying to make some time to read it soon, and a few other "me" books. I have been trying to not take on too many review books lately, but I still have a lot to get through.

If you lie it - even if not - you really should read Darynda Jones's adult series (First Grave on the Right is #1) it's HILARIOUS!! About a grim reaper chick and it's rally great I think you'd like it. One of my fav! Anyways, lovely haul chicky!!

I have heard Glimmer is a cool book. And I am even more intrigued because every review is so vague about it that I need to know what makes it so good. I bet your accent is adorable!!! I love accents! *pets hair* don't be ashamed hon. :)

  10. I had trouble with You Tube for my recording too! Not to mention my kids interrupting twenty times, so I had to record it 4 times. LOL

    1. Haha!! I was so in the zone when making the video that I didn't even notice all the noise my daughter was making until I watched it. The past 2 weeks the first time I upload to YouTube it has cut out the sound and I have to upload again. SO frustrating.
