Hi guys!! Welcome to another weekly recap and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews. I have a pretty small, but super awesome week as far as books go. I didn't do many reviews this week either. Unfortunately I have been in a bit of a reading slump lately and even had a DNF book which almost never happens. (It's only my third one ever) I have caught back up since then and am actually starting to get ahead as far as scheduling on my blog. I loved City of Lost Souls. I read it on my nook the day it came out, but I was just waiting for my special edition copy in the mail. I have read Jumping Off Swings but I haven't read Jo's other books. I am excited to get to them.

I was so giddy when CoLS finally came in. I flipped to the back right away and (carefully) took out the letter to read it. Then read it again lol!! In CoFA I read the letter to Clary from Jace like 20 times haha!! Did you get the email from me about Jen sending Decals to any of the team members who want them? I will tweet it at you to make sure. :)

ReplyDeleteI am really excited to read it. I don't request books for review too often, so when I do my contact is really awesome about sending them. It doesn't come out until the end of August so it will be a little while until I get to it. I really want to read it now though. Maybe I will. :)

Yes!! I pre-ordered it forever ago because I NEEDED the one with the letter in the back!! The other special editions sound good too, but I had to have the letter.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I need to reread City of Bones and then go through the whole series.. I read that first one so many years ago I don't remember any of it!
I would love to sit and reread the entire series again. It's so good. They are massive books though, so I don't have the time to read 5 of them back to back. I barely have time to sneak in one "me" book. Lol!!
