Top Ten Tuesday (12)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by  The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a different topic for the Top Ten.  This weeks Top Ten topic is a rewind so we can choose a previous topic. I chose:

Top Ten Books I Had to buy...but are still sitting on my shelf. (or nook)

These aren't in any order, but they are books that I have bought no further back than September of last year.

  1. Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter
  2. Across the Universe by Beth Revis
  3. Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
  4. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
  5. Harbinger by Sara Wilson Etienne
  6. Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday
  7. Fated by Sarah Alderson
  8. Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler
  9. The Alchemy of Forever by Avery Williams
  10. Hereafter by Tara Hudson
I was going to add the covers, but I just decided to link the titles to Goodreads instead. There are hundreds of other books that I have bought and still not read, but these are just a few of the ones I was dying to read and still haven't yet. If only there were more hours in a day or a way to freeze time. Leave me a link and I will check out your Tuesday post. :)

  1. I've got quite a lot of books on my Nook that I bought but haven't read including Hereafter and Deadly Cool. Ironically enough, I'm actually reading Deadly Cool at the moment, another attempt at getting into it. I tried reading it a couple months back but it couldn't hold my interest. I won an Amazon gift card the other day *super ecstatic* so among a few others, I bought Bittersweet which should be here on Wednesday. It sounded like the perfect, cute contemporary book. I'm really looking forward to it. Born at Midnight is pretty good, not overly-amazing but entertaining nonetheless I think you'd like it.

    1. It's not that I don't want to read the books that I bought. I just have a lot of review books to get through. I think I would like Born at Midnight too. I will eventually get to it.

    1. I have been wanting to read Catching Jordan forever!! I really need to make time. I need like a reading vacation where I can just be left alone to read for like a few days. I only really have time to read at night after everyone goes to bed.

    1. Yes, I almost put it on there, but that one hasn't been waiting too long so I figured I would leave it off. :)

  5. I have Born at Midnight and Bittersweet on my shelves, too. I'm such a sucker for buying books, but it's so difficult to read them all! I have books from 2009 that I still haven't read. Eep!

    1. I know it, I think we all do. It was such a must buy at the time, but other books were more tempting to read lol!! Never ends.

  6. I did the same thing with Across the Universe. I was lucky enough to go to a signing and meet Beth Revis and that book still sat on my shelf for a long time! I recently read it though and really ending up loving it! I hope you enjoy it too!
