Waiting on Wednesday 6-27-12 HarperCollins Edition


Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine  to share what book you are highly anticipating the release of.




This week I have three. I know, right?!! Not that I don't have like a million each week, but I usually contain myself. Well, not this week. Prompted by all of the cover gorgeousness, I totally can't help myself. I chose Boundless by Cynthia Hand (book 3 in the Unearthly series), Everbound by Brodi Ashton (book 2 of the Everneath series), and Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi (book 2 of the Shatter Me series). I am having some major cover love for these and besides that I totally loved the first book in each series!! (and second since Boundless is the 3rd in that series)

*Please note that since it is a sequel, the synopsis for Everbound will be spoilery if you have not read Everneath. The other two books do not have a synopsis yet.

Overview

This one doesn't have a synopsis yet either, but I loved Shatter Me, I am excited for the Novella Destroy Me, and I am dying to read this one!! At least on October 2nd we get Destroy me to hold us over until February.

  1. UM. Yes! I didn't even realize Everbound & Boundless come out on the same day. It's gonna be a hard decision to pick which one to read first. I've obviously got to pre-order them. I still haven't read Shatter Me but it's definitely on my tbr list.

  3. Yes so many books and so many pretty covers! I can't wait for Boundless and Unravel Me! I loved Shatter Me and Unearthly series and I love these new covers! I still need to read Everneath but the cover for Everbound is gorgeous! Great picks!

  5. I have to agree with you, Harper Collins releases amazing books !
    I still haven't read Cynthia Hand's series, yet. I might be the only one who hasn't read it. :P I need to fix that soon !
    I'm excited for both Everbound and Unravel Me because I the previous books!

  6. After reading Hallowed I was left with SO many emotions! I need Boundless! The same with Everbound. Everneath was such an emotional read. I love both those series so I'm right there with you on the waiting. I haven't read Shatter Me yet but soon and I didn't know the cover for Unravel Me had been revealed. It's gorgeous! Great picks :)

  7. ::dreamy sigh:: GREAT picks! I have Unearthly, but haven't read it yet. Same thing with Shatter Me. However, I have read Everneath and am very excited for Everbound! These covers, and their predecessor's covers, are all gorgeous! They should definitely be facing OUT on a bookshelf :-)

  10. I am SO EXCITED for Unravel Me!!!! My friend got me a copy at ALA and I am STOKED!!!!! It's going to be AWESOME!!! :D Great list, HarperCollins always has great titles :D

    1. I think that when they changed the cover, the first and second book look very similar. I like the cover because it is different than the typical girl in a dress. I did love the cover for Shatter Me though. She looked pretty bad ass!!

  15. Great picks! I have the first two books in the Unearthly series AND the first book in the Everneath series to read still! They are among the many others on my bookshelf! I really need to get to those! LOL! I loved Shatter Me, so I will definitely be getting Unravel Me :-)
