Weekly Recap / Stacking the Shelves (11)

*Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Hi everyone!! Well, summer is in full swing around here. It's been so hot and humid. The weather channel says there is a cold front coming through that will cool it down to the mid 80's next week. Yay!! This week for my vlog I was really a little lazy and didn't feel like doing makeup and my hair or anything because it's hot and I wasn't feeling it so excuse my face lol!! I was hoping that a few things I am waiting for would come in, but they didn't. My mailman also only came on Monday Thursday and Saturday this week. Lazy mailman.

Weekly Recap

This week I had three reviews, Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent, Dreamwalker by Andrea Heltsley as part of the blog tour, and Don't You Wish by Roxanne St. Claire. I did my monthly recap for June and I am proud of how well I did. I also had a cover reveal for The Violet Fox by Clare Marshall and I posted the highly anticipated book trailer for Obsidian. (OMG I love it!!) I am taking part in the read-along for Fariy Metal Thunder and so I did my week 1 post for that.  I had a few weekly memes too. Teaser Tuesday, Waiting on Wednesday, and My Saturday Silliness post which was not silly, but scary lol!!

I have noticed that some bloggers like Andrea from @ The Bookish Babe also put search results for the week so I thought that would be fun to add too. I won't put the searches for my actual blog though it makes me happy that people search for it.

onyx by jennifer l armentrout teasers - 3 (So awesome that JLA searches come to my blog! I mean I am a total fan girl!)
pushing the limits by katie mcgarry teasers and quote - 2 (Love this book! So happy that searches for it come to my blog)
abbi glines - only one, but still. I love Abbi Glines
ariel aaron patterson chris white uriel - one search for this one too
before i wake rachel vincent review - Yay! Love this series, love this book.
books to read after as the world dies - okay this is just awesome. I have not actually done a post on what to read after that epic series, but I am glad that the search comes to my blog. :)

There were a few other searches, but they may be spoilery for some books so I won't put them.

I hope you all had a fabulous week. Leave me a link and I will visit your blog. :)

  1. I love the cover for Fairystruck. Sooo cute! And you are not the only person who hasn't read the Vampire Academy. I haven't either lol ANd those are crazy weird hours for your library. I wonder why? And if the library were that close to me I think I'd be there every day! Well..every day they are open anyways lol

Hope you are having a great summer!!!

    1. Haha. I just have so many of my own books to read that I never thought about the library I guess since it didn't seem open. It's only open on Tuesday and Thursday 2-5 & 6-8 It's a super small town so they don't need to be open much I guess. I love the covers for the Songs of Magic series! All so pretty!!

  3. Yay Vampire Academy and JLA's books are awesome! I'm scared of Wae bc I've come so annoyed of mermaid books! Bleh! And your library is open 2 days? Lamers!! haha but at least you have one! I've no idea where the one in my town is. I rather buy my books on Kijiji worst case bc, they have boogers in library books, Amy! BOOGERS!!

    1. Oh and Kijiji is like Craigslist but Canadian

    2. Ewww BOOGERS!! Yeah, I think that is a big part of why I never really went to the library either. I am a super germaphobic. I don't even want to think of how many people were touching this book. *shivers* I figured I would go check it out though since it's actually open lol! Then I saw VA and was like, "OMG I am the only person in the world who hasn't read that so I should get it." haha!!!

  4. I got Wake and the Songs of Magic series this week too! :) *high five* Sorry I didn't get to watch your vlog, I'm kind of in a time crunch, so I'm trying to comment first, I'll try to get to your vlog later! :)

    1. Hehe!! Yes! *high five* No problem. I understand the time thing. I usually don't get to visit many blogs on Sunday because it's family day and I am supposed to stay off of the computer lol!!

  5. Yay for Vampire Academy ! I can't believe you haven't read it yet. :P
Love the covers for The Fairy Metal Thunder series. They're really pretty. Your library sounds very strange. What do they even do in there on the days they are closed ? :P
    Happy reading !
And Zombiebooth finally installed on the phone, but whenever I took a picture it kept telling me that my damn face couldn't be found. -_-

    1. Oh and I forgot to mention ! I kept staring at those sexy green eyes for like 10 mins when I got onto your blog ...

    2. Lol!! Yeah, I was only able to find 3 pics that the zombie booth would work on. It's so touchy. The library is part of the town of Montague so there are 3 of them and they split hours and days. Since it's a very small town this one doesn't really need to be open very often. OMG isn't that banner awesome!!

  6. You know, you wrote this superlong explanation about no makeup and stuff, and I was expecting the worst, and then you looked good. I'm disappointed here. :P

Oh, I actually read "Books you should read after the world died" or something like that and I was like "That's amazing! We need posts about this!" XD

(PS. ^Nick: "I kept staring at those sexy green eyes for like 10 mins when I got onto your blog" - Similiar here. I didn't stare, though. I opened your blog, then suddenly there was a guy looking straight at me. o.o :'D)

  14. AHHH! So jealous of the physicals of J.L.'s books, they are AWESOME! I love that series so much it's ridiculous. I got Wake this week too for the tour! I've been hearing some negative things so I'm hoping it works out better for us! I haven't read the Vampire Academy either, so you are not alone. I did buy the two books in the Bloodlines series before I knew that they were a spin off! Enjoy your goodies love!
