So I am going to say 16 books in September. That puts my total at 134 (though on Goodreads I think it actually says 140 because of novellas and short stories) So I am at 112% on my goal for the year. I probably should up it to 175, but oh well. I like feeling awesome that I have rocked that challenge!
Though I am no longer doing the Debut author challenge, I am still keeping track of the debut books I read. I had my challenge goal as 11-16 books, so add in the 3 from this month I am at a total of 34. Yay for me!
I didn't add any books to the Sensational Seconds challenge this month. I had a set goal of 5-8 or something (I really should see what I set that at) I am still at 13, but I am at more than my goal.
And yes, still totally failing my TBR Pile Challenge. Once again, I didn't read any this month so my total stays at 5. I am pretty sure my goal is set at 11-16. So, I only need to read 5 before the end of the year to get to the lower number of my goal. Realistically, I am expecting a fail on this!!
I would love to know how you are doing with your reading and challenges. Overall I am happy with what I have accomplished. I never would have thought I would almost to 150 books read In October. That is just awesome for me. I swear, I am a slow reader. Thanks for stopping by to check out my progress!!
I can't believe how fast this year is going as well. I think it is because I am getting old lol But I love Halloween! Can't wait to carve pumpkins. I'm doing horrible on my TBR challenge as well. I get sucked into reading new books and my older books continue to collect dust.
ReplyDeleteI know! I NEED to make time for the hundreds of books that I bought/won and haven't read yet.
DeleteLoved Shift <3 <3 The Shade serie is so so good <3 <3
ReplyDeletereading challenges? I am pretty badass this year :D HA! Well.. I've read 78 books and I feel pretty great about it!! I have a dystopian time right now and I'm really enjoying Dystopian books :) :)
Oh, Amy don't worry :) I've been busy this past couple of months too. The job and now I have to write down my thesis till Monday and I am all stressed out and anxiety is heaving on me :S But I am glad everything is ok with you :)
I followed you by email now so I don't miss your posts. If it is in my email I won't forget to visit. :) I go through phases where I totally love a certain genre too and just can't get enough. I try to switch it up though so I don't get burned out on one genre!
DeleteImpressive girl! Good job!

Thanks chick!!
DeleteWOW! Awesome reading month! You are rocking those challenges. I hope to read Ten and Hanging by A Thread next month. My classes are killing my reading time. I'm planning on setting up a schedule to help me out though.
ReplyDeleteI have a rough schedule written out. I write down all the books coming out in the next two months by release date and try to stick to it. Doesn't always work, especially when I get behind lol!!
Deletewow you read ALOT!!! AND im glad im not the only one who couldnt finish unspoken (shhh) lol!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up amy!!

I think that Unspoken would be a book I could enjoy if I was just casually reading it and taking my time maybe. Or maybe not. I liked the story I just thought it was dragging and the characters did nothing for me. I think that we are the minority on not enjoying it. I have seen some really fantastic reviews for it. Oh, well! Lol!
DeleteYay for reading! ;) I totally just stopped keeping track lol I completely just was too lazy to make bookshelves on Goodreads and shelve them and yeah :P But I'm glad you're above all your challenges! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm a little OCD so I have lists and stuff everywhere for different things haha! I like to keep track of stuff, though I am bad about remembering to post reviews to Amazon.
DeleteI can't believe another month has passed! You did an awesome job with your books. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks babe!! This year really seems to be flying by!!
