Yay we got a couple of the same books. Doesn't Splintered look pretty!? And Touch of Death sounds really good! Aren't finished copies for review awesome? I actually prefer them but when it's so last minute (and unexpected) I usually can't review them for weeks if not months O_O But I'm not complaining :)
ReplyDeleteAnd OMG your daughter is adorable. She's doing her own StS vlog!! haha.
I'll be back tomorrow to watch the vlog you did for the thingy with Jenni and all them. So I can hound you about all the books your neglecting >.<
Haha!! It was funny when I finished the video and saw her in the back showing off her stickers!! I am half done with Death and the Girl Next Door and I love it. (I really didn't expect to get it since I requested it in like July!) The Book Buzzers is so fun! I already recorded week two and am going to record week three in the next few days so I have them done.
DeleteWe got a couple of the same books! Great haul.

Woohoo!! I am excited about the awesome books I got this week.
DeleteWhat a nice selection of books. I have Death and the Girl Next Door on my wishlist but refuse to buy it until I have read some of the huge backlog I already have. My new book posts are at Inside of a Dog and at Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Stop by if you get a chance and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAwesome haul this week! I hope you enjoy them all =) I can't wait to start All the Broken Pieces!! Happy reading!

Sorry about the reading slump -- that has happened to me and it sucks. I was glad to see on Twitter that you're back to reading. Crewel is great -- I really enjoyed that one and my review will go up in the next week or so.
ReplyDeleteI really can't wait to read Splintered. I am a total cover whore and that cover is AWESOME. Though I will probably be let down, because that's always what happens to me with a pretty cover book. I really wanted to love Death and the Girl next door, but I didn't at all. I hope you have better luck with it than I did.
ReplyDeleteawesomeee! you got ALOT of books! Me and my sister also got splintered!! and juhina also read "Death and the girl next door" but didnt enjoy it that much.. :/ Hope you enjoy ALL of your books!! :D

Congrats on getting books you wanted. I got Splintered too! <333 I love the cover to Ironskin too...but I've seen mixed reviews. I love the chapter heads on the pages to Touch of Death! Kids always try to grab your attention while your busy...right? :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Death and the Girl Next Door. It's getting some mixed reviews, but I want to read it anyway.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence about Ironskin, but I might read it depending on the reviews. The blurb doesn't do much for me.
Haha, I think everyone got Sweet Venom this week. They were smart to do a free promotion. Bloggers jumped on it!
So many amazing books, many of which are near the top of my wishlist! How will you find the time to read them all? Happy reading! If you would like to check out my Stacking The Shelves post you can do so here. :)
