Sweet Evil Read-Along Week 1: Road Trip

Okay so I am like totally late with posting my week one thing, but I will probably be late every week. This week was for chapters 1-9 and the theme is Road Trip. I will try not to bore you. I will make a random post with random stuff.

So first off, I will tell you a car that I would love to road trip in. That would be the Camaro ZL1. Dude, this thing is packing 580 horsepower and it's just a really sexy car!! Perhaps not the most comfy road trip vehicle, but who cares? I would totally be rockin' in that!!

 Now that we know the car I would be in, we need some good tunes right? What's a fun road trip without great music to listen to. I am a bit obsessed with the iheart radio app on my phone because you can always find a great station, but I will put together a little playlist.

That's just a few songs that I would want on it, but I like a big variety of music. Those were just the first ones that popped into my head. I need some really great songs to sing to and make a fool out of myself too!!

Onto snacks!! OMG I have to have either a coffee (hot or iced) or a cherry coke when I am driving. As for snacks, I don't really snack much while I drive, but I do love these!!

The Island Paradise gummy bears are so good!! They are super flavorful and tasty!! I love twizzlers and and gummy bears!!

Now that I have given you some road trip essentials, instead of going over some agonizingly boring road trip stories I will just move on to my thoughts of chapters 1-9 of Sweet Evil.

My Thoughts

Okay, so obviously Kaidan is super hot and oozes sex appeal. I think I may be the only one not falling head over heels for him. I just think he's a jerk. I get that he has to "work" and the way he has been raised, and ya know the fact he is half demon, but I still just think he's an arrogant prick. I am glad that Anna mostly keeps her wits about her, but it's obvious she is going to fall into his trap.

Anna has always known she was different, she just didn't know what she was. I get that she feels better knowing that there are others like her, Kaidan being one of them. I know that the trip that they are going on is important, but it feels wrong to me. I know that he must have other not so honorable motives for offering to road trip to L.A.

So far I am enjoying the story, and I do really like Anna. The verdict is still out on my thoughts of Kaidan. As of now I still think he is a cocky bastard, but I'm starting to warm up to him slightly. I have already read a few of next weeks read-along chapters and I really do love this book so far!!
