Waiting on Wednesday 10-3-12

This week my Waiting on Wednesday is Furious by Jill Wolfsen. Why? Because I love Greek Mythology and this sounds pretty awesome!!

Overview

Three high school girls become the avenging Furies of Greek legend.

We were only three angry girls, to begin with. Alix, the hot-tempered surfer chick; Stephanie, the tree-hugging activist; and me, Meg, the quiet foster kid, the one who never quite fit in. I'm not typically into the whole revenge thing when it's about boys, but when it's three angry chicks mad at everything?!! Win!! Let the raging begin!! This sounds like it will be full of awesome!!

    1. I think it's great to focus on Furies. They are part of a lot of books, but I have yet to read a book about them.

  12. This sounds like a multiple POV book which has me a little turned off but the premise is great. I'll need some positive reviews to convince me :) Great choice!

    1. I forgot that you don't like multi POV's. I like them if they are 1st person, but they are iffy for me if it's told in 3rd person. It doesn't sound to me like it will be multi POV though, it seems like it will be told by Meg by the way the synopsis is.
