Series You Will Never Read

So what are your thoughts. What series will you never read and why? Leave me a comment. I'm curious to see what all of you think.

  1. I'm totally with you when it comes to Fallen. You know me, I've read quite a few angel-esque books and loved them, but there's just so much about Fallen I didn't like. The pacing, the story and most definitely the characters!! Hush, Hush I thought was great but then I really disliked book number two which turned me off from the rest of the series. I'm so bummed that you don't think you'll ever read Vampire Academy. It's so hard with book one, because I feel like it's very slow-going and doesn't pick up till 1/2+. Fallen and Hush, Hush definitely I won't read, I also was one of those weird ones who didn't like Daughter of Smoke and Bone so I don't plan on reading that either. I agree with what you were saying about not wasting time. Even if I had double the amount of time to live (lol) there would just never be enough time to read everything that I love/want to read. Sometimes you got to pick and choose.

    1. Yeah, I did read the first Fallen book, I just didn't like it much. If I had been blogging at the time it probably would have been rated a 2. I really wanted to read VA, but I just don't think I will ever want it bad enough to make the time to fit them in.

  2. I kind of understand some of your mentions.. Like Fallen.. I read book 1 and 2.. Liked them, both not a wauww.. effect... I am not like eager to read the continuing book..

Hush Hush I will read though.. Coz I own it and a friend of my said it was awesome.. So I trusth her :)

I also said I would not read Fifty Shades of Grey.. Though I purshased the first book.. So I might read it anyway.. Coz I wanna now that all the fuss and bad talk is all about :P

A series I will never read.. Must be.. Hmm.. Immortals.. Like in Evermore etc.. I was not fund of first book.. I got first 4 books in series.. But think I will donate them to hospital or library.. Coz I will never get to them..
I will probably not read third and fourth book in Fallen series...
And I will probably never read the rest of Immortals by Gillian Shields.. Coz book 1 didn`t do any good for me.. Just waist of time..

So many books I need to read.. So I have to start getting picky :P

    1. Yeah, that's more of my thing. Fallen I obviously didn't like, but with VA and Hush Hush, I just don't have the time and they aren't anywhere near the top of my list of books I want to read.

  3. The Fallen series is okay. I get why you didn't like it though. I haven't finished it and it's not calling to me right now but I probably will finish it sometimes.

Now I LOVE the Hush Hush series. I met the author and I love Patch. Can't wait to finish it.

    Love VA a lot!

So NOT gonna read the Fifty Shades books. Just not my thing and I've heard enough about them to know I wouldn't enjoy them.

  4. I actually loveddThe Fallen series, but can't stand Hush, Hush. That Patch....I did not like him. You don't ever want to read Vampire Academy? That makes me sad. It's still one of my very favorite series. Ever. I have read FSoG and half of book two. Despite all the flaws and bad hype, there is a but of an interesting story. I just really don't care either way. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I know it's sad about VA. I really did try though. FSoG is just one of those books that I wouldn't make time for. I'm sure that the series is fine, but I just have no desire to read it. I would rather read a good quality steamy smut book than those.

  5. i suppose I'd have to think about it. One of my all-time favorite series is Vampire Academy. I think that's when I truly fell in love with YA Paranormal. I liked The Fallen series, but I love HUSH HUSH. I love Patch. I did like the FSoG series. I do see where people had issues with it, but I read all three books in three days. So, I guess I see the series as one HUGE book, rather than separate books. I think if you read it like that, you see the big picture. I liked the big, overall picture. This was fun to think about!

    1. I love the replies to this. This is why I love blogging because it's all so subjective. Everyone has different things they like and don't. I have nothing against FSoG, I just won't make time for it since there are books that sound much better to me.

  7. Trust me, you don't even want to waste your time with the Fallen series. I have such a love/hate relationship with it, lol. And yea, I only read the 1st Hush, Hush book. I have the 2nd one, but Idk when I'll get around to reading it. LOL, I wanna get VA for xmas to see what it's all about (and I hate how a lot of people keep comparing it to the Covenant series and all that drama). Ugh, I will never give 50 Shades of Smut a try, just not worth it at all. I might give Bared to You a try though, since I've heard it's like that, only better.

    1. Yes!! Bared to You is one that I do want to try. It's not that I don't enjoy smut, I just don't think I would enjoy FSoG that much. Yeah, I don't get the whole freaking VA/Covenant drama. That's not why I'm not reading VA, actually it makes me curious, but there are just so many and book one was moving so slow.
