Top Ten Tuesday (16)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely girls over at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week is a different topic and it's very fun.

It has been so long since I have done one of these. I think this is number 16. I sometimes just really can't think of any books for a certain topic or I had something scheduled already so I just haven't done one in a while. I really need to get back into it because they are really fun. The topic for this week is:

Top Ten Books I Would Want On A Deserted Island

These are not in any particular order they are just 10 books I would want
  1. Tempting the Player by J. Lynn - This book is just awesome and I could be happy reading this one numerous times. I love the first book too, but as of right now Chad is my favorite Gamble Brother.  (So it's an ebook, we will pretend that they make physical copies of it so I don't have to totally cheat and say I would bring my nook with a solar powered charger.)
  2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling - It is my favorite of all the books I think. I mean, I love them all and it's hard to pick, but if I could only bring one of the HP books it would be this one.
  3. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - I have so much love for this book!! I would need this.
  4. If I Die by Rachel Vincent - I love this whole series too, but I would want to keep getting wrapped up in this one over and over.
  5. Obsidian & Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout. - Do I even have to explain. I am such a JLA fan girl that I think this totally warranted cheating.
  6. Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout - I cheated with the last one, so I will be good with this one. This is my favorite of the series so far so I will stick with this one.
  7. Shift by M.R. Merrick - Dude, this series is seriously epic. I would love to just stay in this world in my head forever. I would have chosen Exiled, but Shift was even more epic than the first one even though I didn't think that was possible.
  8. Inhale by Kendall Grey- Okay so I totally loved Exhale too, but the ending had me fuming and who wants to get all worked up on a desert Island. I will stick to the hot and steamy of this one.
  9. My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris - This book was so fun and romantic. It's a perfect read to get lost in.
  10. The Diviners by Libba Bray - I will admit that I am not finished reading this yet, but it's so good and it's a big book that would keep me occupied for a while.
So that's my list. Obviously there are like a million more I would want, but those will have to do. I am too lazy to link them so I apologize for that. (Do people actually click on the links anyways?)   What books would you want with you. Leave me a comment or a link.

  1. That's a good assortment. You have a whole library there!
Prisoner of Axkaban is my favorite too.
And I also wonder if people click on the links. Cause they are a fair amount of time to set up....

    1. I would have put the links, but this was a last minute post. I decided to do this instead of a review post so I was doing it last night and was far too lazy to put the links haha!!

  4. It was so hard choosing just one HP book. We ended up going with Deathly Hallows, but it was a tough call between that, Order of the Phoenix, and Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm hoping that my turn for The Diviners is coming up soon at the library- I've been impatiently waiting to read it.

    1. I always find lists hard to do. I think that's why I don't do TTT's that often.

  6. So loving your list hun! I love your Prisoner of Azkaban comment, that one is one of my favorites as well. But then I think of Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows and I just can't choose just one. If I really had to I'd go Deathly Hallows though ;) Oh and even though I've just discovered JLA, and support your JLA choices haha! Inhale and The Diviners are on my reading list as well. Great list all around Amy, thanks for sharing!

  9. Totally agree on some of these. I'd have to take the whole series of Harry Potter. I like Andrea's idea. I'd totally cheat and count the box set as one book.

You liked The Diviners that much? That's awesome!!

So happy you picked Shift. That makes me smile. :)

    Great list!

  10. Only ten books!? Can the complete HP series be one of my picks? Haha! I'm glad you're enjoying the Diviners. A few of my trusted blogger/reviewers haven't cared for it much. :(

  13. After hearing Libba Bray speak on the weekend, I can't wait to get into Diviners! Everything about it seems right up my alley - it just seems so daunting with how thick the book is! But I hear it goes by super quickly.

    Great list Amy!! :)
