Weekly Recap/Stacking the Shelves (34) Filled With HarperTeen Titles!!

*Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews
Hi everyone. I have quite a few books this week, but I am not doing a vlog, and I'm not going to put the pictures, but all the titles will link to Goodreads. I apologize, but my heart feels heavy and I just don't have it in me to spend a lot of time on this today when I just want to spend it with my family. I will also be taking a mini blogging break for the rest of the year. I will still have all my tour posts and other posts that I have committed to, but most likely not a lot of reviews. I just want to schedule my stuff for the rest of the year as best I can and take time to step back. I love blogging and plan on continuing with it, but right now my heart isn't in it. I am saddened by the tragic shooting in Connecticut and I just feel that I need to step back. I am always worried about having content everyday and wanting to read every book, but it seems so silly to worry about things like that when you think about the big picture. I hope you will all be here when I get back, I promise I am not abandoning you. I have posts for almost everyday for the rest of the year while I take a break. I love all of you and I will still be around the twitterverse and blog hopping, just not as much.

Weekly Recap
Search Terms
  • j-47-ge-27 - I seriously have no clue what this is. I mean it's an engine, but I don't know why the search brought you here.
  • percy jackson and the sea of monsters - I listened to the audiobook and really liked it.
  • extracted trailer release sherry - Yes, there is voting for the book trailer. I posted on Wednesday.
  • download deity by jennifer l armentrout for free - Seriously!! Okay, this search peeves me off!! That is illegal and wrong. I don't know why you ended up here. I am very against piracy. If you want the book and can't buy it, go to the library. There is never any reason to illegally download!!
  • gravity by melissa west excerpt - I do have an excerpt. It's an awesome book, you should read it.
  • kelley ann quinn - Should I know who this is? Am I being a fail right now that I don't?
  • opal lux series teasers - I was going to put a few teaser quotes in my review, but couldn't pick just a few. That book is so quote worthy!!
That's all guys. Like I said, there will still be posts up on my blog, but maybe not everyday. I just need a bit of a break not just from my blog, but the internet in general. I will still hop on twitter and check out my favorite blogs, but most of my time will be spent relaxing and spending time with my family.

  2. Aww take all the time that you need, love! We'll for sure be here! :) I have to stop myself from reading the news it breaks my heart every time I read more about it. The holidays will be pretty slow on the blog for me, too.

Great haul this week! Angelfall is SO good! One of the best indie books I read ever (I didn't even know it was indie at the time I read it pre-blogging!) I'm also very excited for Mind Games!

    Love you, Amypie!

  6. I've definitely been stepping back and rethinking how I spend my time lately, especially since the tragedy in Connecticut. There's nothing more important than family, friends, and faith.

  8. We talked about why I couldn't request these books on Twitter. I really wanted to but I knew I wouldn't have the time. I am surprised I maintained my willpower. I, however, hope you enjoy them and I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts, especially on Pretty Girl-13 and Mind Games. Enjoy, Amy!

  10. Amy, you should take as much time as you want. Family comes before blogging, so I don't think anyone will hold it against you if you're not going to be present much around the blogosphere. I for one will still be around when you get back!
That is an epic book haul! I'm excited too see what you think of all of them!
    Enjoy! :)

  15. Awesome new reads!! I'm super excited to read Mind Games. I hope it's as great as it sounds. It' one over those cover-lust books I NEED on my shelf. If I hadn't traded for Carnival of Souls via the exchange I totally was going to buy the e-copy too. I love when books I've been dying to read go on e-sale :D

My blog is now an award free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but stopping by is reward enough for me. Thank you so much!!

I have been getting a ridiculous amount of spam comments so I have disabled anonymous comments. If you are an anonymous user and a real person, I apologize.

I love comments! I will try to respond to as many as I can. I read every one of them, even if I do not respond to them all.
