This weeks topic is:
What We Expect or Like When A Book or Series Ends

What are your thoughts on the way you want books to end. Let me know.

  1. I couldn't get the video to load. boo.

My main thing is an ending that makes sense. And that it's not rushed.

  2. I don't even see the video?? :(

Endings? I want them to be true to the characters and mostly I want a HEA.

  3. I'm beginning to like cliffhanger endings, too, because no matter how angry they may make me feel at the moment, they mostly make me end up caring what will happen next, which is always good. But other times cliffhangers feel gimmicky (the most gimmicky cliffhanger is in So Close to You - which INFURIATED me), and only leaves me angry and never caring about what would happen next.

  4. @ Andrea and Val the HTML code apparently didn't want to work, but I uploaded it directly from YouTube now.
@ Blythe I do agree that some cliffhanger endings are annoying, but I think if it's done right and there is a good reason for it they are great. I didn't care for the one at the end of So Close To You either, but I still do want to read the next book.

  5. Hmm, I like ending that are unexpected. Like the way The Madman's Daughters ended. AGHHH! It totally caught me off guard but made me want so much more.

My blog is now an award free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but stopping by is reward enough for me. Thank you so much!!

I have been getting a ridiculous amount of spam comments so I have disabled anonymous comments. If you are an anonymous user and a real person, I apologize.

I love comments! I will try to respond to as many as I can. I read every one of them, even if I do not respond to them all.
