I was a huge Goosebumps book fan! I was actually just talking to my friend about our favorites from back in the day and the television show. I still haven't read his other YA book but I want to and this one as well.
ReplyDeleteMy WOW
I haven't read his other YA book either, but I do want to eventually. This one sounds really awesome and I love the cover!!
DeleteYes great pick! I haven't heard of this one yet but adding it to my list right now! It sounds so good and the cover is so creepy. I also loved Goosebumps so I definitely will read another book by R.L. Stine!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover!! This sounds so good!! As soon as I saw it in the Macmillan catalog I was like *grabby hands* NEED THIS!!
DeleteI LOVED GOOSEBUMPS! They were so awesome! :D You got me really excited with your WoW! I love the cover and I love the title! :)
ReplyDeleteFab pick, Amy! :)
I'm glad I got you excited!! It's not often I find a great WoW that hasn't already been used around the blogosphere already.
DeleteOh wow, a new book from R.L Stine?! Eeep, so excited. Must add this to my tbr asap!
ReplyDeleteI am super excited for this one!!
DeleteI can't even remember how long it's been since I read a R.L. Stine book. Too long for sure! I love the cover on this one. It's simple yet eery.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is awesome!! That was what initially got my attention. Then I saw it was R.L. Stine!
DeleteOMG it's R.L Stine! I read the blurb (yes I ACTUALLY read the blurb) after seeing the cover and was all over it and then you mentioned R.L. Stine and I got even more excited but a bit scared. Red Rain got some terrible reviews and I can't help but wonder if he lost his mojo. I'll be giving this one a go to see, Great pick!
ReplyDeleteWow! You read a blurb? I have heard mixed things about Red Rain, but I still want to try this one out!!
DeleteOoh dude! This sounds so cool! R.L. Stine! Hells Yeah! Though I did read a review of one of his YA or adult book (I think it was Christina's) and she was saying he wasn't that great when it wasn't a kid's book. But I'M totally going to give this one a try!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that this one is as awesome as it sounds!! Maybe he doesn't seem as creepy when you are actually an adult lol!! I still am super excited for this one though.
DeleteEeep. The cover scares me. LOL
ReplyDeleteLol!! I know, you don't like scary stuff. :)
DeleteEEEK creepy!! Glad someone's excited for it, though! ;) Hehe! Interested to hear your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Some people don't do scary. For me, the scarier the better. ;)
DeleteThis book sounds sooooo good! I don't really read horror books, but I do love horror movies, so maybe I should change that?!
ReplyDeleteWhoa -- this one might be too scary for me. I'm going to make you read it first!
ReplyDeleteWow, talk about a flashback! I loved Goosebump books, especially the ones with the shiny covers and the pick your own ending ones. I didn’t know he had a YA book. Love the concept, love the name of the book but the cover reminds me of that book that shall not be named…
ReplyDeleteOh wow, a new RL Stine book! I didn't really care for him as a kid, but I still read a bunch (you read what you can get your hands on when you live in a small town with a tiny library). I don't think this would be my thing since I don't like scary books, but it's great he's coming out with new stuff!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember if I read Stine's books, but I did like creepy stuff in jr high. I lovem, love the cover for this!
ReplyDeleteGreat pick! Looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteValerie
I read RL Stine until my kids got tired of hearing my voice, and started reading on their own (it was a great way to encourage kids to read, I should go into preschools). He was king of the unsettled ending.
ReplyDeleteI have not come across this book before. Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention. Happy Reading! Here is my WoW for this week!
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW. Havent heard of this one yet, and not really my type of genre, but I might go out of my comfort zone just to read this one! Great pick and thanks for sharing! :D
