Hey guys! How's everyone doing this weekend? I am totally snowed in where I am. We just got hammered with Winter Storm Nemo and have almost 3 feet of snow. So I am actually writing this post in my pajamas and really tired from hours of trying to dig myself out. Lol!! I have some really exciting things to show you since I went to the Dark Days event on Thursday! Look for my recap next week. Also, Giselle @ Xpresso Reads and I are organizing a Boston area Book Blogger Meetup in August. (She is totally way better at planning than me though. I just finished reading Unravel Me this week and oh my gosh, it left me in a emotional mess! Can't wait for the 3rd and final book now. ^^ Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteI was so tired after all the snow removal that I only read like 50 pages before I couldn't stay awake anymore. Hopefully I will got a lot read today.
DeleteI still need to read Shatter Me but I checked out Boundless from my library. Can't wait to see how it finally ends! Team Tucker all the way! Wow, that's a lot of snow. We never get any here in Florida. Stay warm! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, we definitely got a lot of snow. We get plenty of snow snorms during the winter, but not usually like that. It was all really quick too. When I went to bed at about 11pm there was maybe and inch and at 6am we had like 3 feet. I hope that you love Boundless. It was so emotional, but great.
DeleteThat is insane at the amount of snow you guys have gotten. Stay warm this weekend! I'd take full advantage of the snow and stay in PJs and read all day. LOL I love all the Dark Day books!! So glad you got to attend their signing. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI was shocked when I saw all the snow. I knew they said we were getting 2-3 feet, but I didn't believe it lol!! Hopefully today is just a relaxing sort of day. The Dark Days event was so awesome!! It has been my favorite book event so far!!

LOL we have even more snow here in Estonia and it's driving me nuts! It has been constantly snowing ths weekend again and I don't think it will ever end. DeleteOh, your sooo lucky you din't lose power we did :( and we were FREEZING!! Omgosh, thank the gods that we got it back after 18hrs! We got about 2 feet of snow.

Oh no!! You lost power? I know that over 500,000 people were without power in New England at one point. I am so glad that we didn't lose it. The snow we got wasn't too heavy. There is a lot of it, but it's pretty fluffy.

I was so freaking excited that I got it. I am a little more than half done. I stopped to read Unravel Me though.
DeleteWe got about 2 feet of snow here a couple days before Christmas and that sucked! Awesome haul this week. Unravel Me seems very popular this week :)
ReplyDeleteWhen it's over a foot of snow it's just so hard to deal with because you have nowhere to put it. A lot of people got Unravel Me this week!!

ReplyDeleteOh my!!! As a mom of two who lives in Florida, we think this looks like soooo much F!U!N!!! What I wouldn't give for a snow day to catch up on some good books. Haven't had much time for that lately, but I just picked up Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans and I can't wait to read it. It comes highly recommended!
