Book Girls Don't Cry - Halloween Reads!!

Hello everyone!! This week our topic for Book Girls is Halloween reads!! Halloween is my favorite holiday so I love this topic. Honestly, I can't remember a lot of the great horror books I have read, and I have not really been on the computer that much this week, but I will try my best to put this post together. Lol!!

Other Book Girls Posts

First, I will start by saying anything by Dean Koontz. He is just really great and one of my favorite authors. He writes awesome thrillers and some of my favorites are his older ones like Twilight Eyes, Night Chills, and so many more. I could keep listing and linking, but you can see a list of his books here.

Okay, now that I have showed my fan girl-ness over Dan Koontz, I will try to make an actual list.

Possess by Gretchen McNeil

(Dude, I don't know if this is a new cover for The Forest of Hands and Teeth, but it was the one that was on B&N and I really liked it!)

The First Days by Rhiannon Frater
The Last Bastion of the Living by Rhiannon Frater

Okay that's all I have because I am having a total brain fart right now. Sorry I sucked at this weeks post. Also, just have to mention that Rhiannon Frater is amazing at horror. Really, you should just read all of her books. If at any point you want some good Halloween recs, just email me or tweet me and I will probably be more helpful after a bit more sleep. I am adjusting to my new schedule and the pup has been restless at night so I am not getting quality sleep lately. Love you all!!!

    1. I have the whole series on both my nook, and signed in paperback and I have only read the first one. I really need to finish the series.

  2. I'm already organizing some PNR reads for October. I'm going to try to review one each week and hopefully a few more for the week of Halloween. I've been missing PNR lately.

    1. Awesome!! I haven't read a lot of PNR lately either. I have tons of review and tour books coming up so I probably won't be able to sneak in any Halloween reads this year. I am going to be getting Doctor Sleep on audio for review though, so I guess that's one that I will get to. :)

  3. Oh, I should've known Frater would be on this list! I think McNeil is a good choice, too, based on what I've heard of her books.
    Great post, babe!

  9. Wow -- the Possess and the Hands and Teeth covers are kind of similar. I read both those and enjoyed them!

  11. Ooof, I hated Possess, but everyone else seems to have liked it, so you'll probably be okay. Forest of Hands and Teeth was alright, but the sequel has caused me to have a visceral negative reaction to any mention of Ryan. Sigh.

My blog is now an award free zone. I really appreciate the thought, but stopping by is reward enough for me. Thank you so much!!

I love comments! I will try to respond to as many as I can. I read every one of them, even if I do not respond to them all.
