A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint...

He can protect her from everyone except himself.

Alana Gore is in danger. A take-no-prisoners publicist, her way with people has made her more than a few enemies over the years, but a creepy stalker is an entirely different matter. She needs a bodyguard, and the only man she can ask is not only ridiculously hot, but reputed to have taste for women that goes beyond adventurous.

Chandler Gamble has one rule: don't protect anyone you want to screw. But with Alana, he's caught between his job and his increasingly hard libido. On one hand, Alana needs his help. On the other, Chandler wants nothing more than to take the hot volcano of a woman in hand. To make her writhe in pleasure, until she's at his complete mercy.

She needs protection. He needs satisfaction. And the moment the line is crossed, all hell will break loose...

My Thoughts

Another hot and fabulous book from J. Lynn!! I love the Gamble Brothers, and Chandler was amazing!! Since I have read the first two book, I already knew who Chandler was, and was so excited to finally get his story. I knew that it would be hot and full of tension. It didn't let me down. I loved how him and Alana interacted besides the hot and sexy stuff. She is a tough chick, and he is the type who if he wants something, he will get it. It' not quite so easy when it comes to Alana though. Not that she is against the steamy stuff, but she is not all about any type of attachment. It was a sexy and fun read.

Chandler Gamble is all sorts of sex on a stick. He's a bodyguard, he goes to exclusive sex clubs, and he knows how to please a woman. He isn't afraid of commitment, or screwing up like his father did, he just hasn't found someone that makes him want to stick around for a while. That is until Alana. There's just something about her, and once he gets a taste, he needs more. He can't imagine ever getting tired of her or her tough chick attitude. She is everything he wants in a woman. He is fiercely protective of her. He doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks. He knows that she will keep pushing away, but that just makes him chase her more.

Alana is one tough cookie. She has to be in the work she does. Being a publicist and trying to make other people look good despite the things they do is tough work. She has done some horrible things and turned a lot of people against her. She knows that it had to be done though. The one thing that leaves her feeling weak is a stalker who she thinks is actually going to harm her. Even though she has a bad history with the Gamble Brothers, she knows that she needs Chandlers help. The last thing she expects is to be falling for him. She fights it, but there is no way around it. She only worries that when her case is solved that Chandler will also be a thing of the past.

The romance in this is smoking hot. Chandler is all about tying up, spanking, and all sorts of stuff. Alana never really lets go, so this is really fun (and sexy) to read. He lets her lose control and they both love what they do for each other. There is tension and a lot of doubt clouding things, but the sexy times push back all of those thoughts. For the time being anyways. There is a lot of hot and cold between them, but man the hot is really, really hot.

This was a great addition to this series and I loved getting to see the characters from the first two books as well. You don't need to read either of them to enjoy this, but you will have a background on why things are the way they are between certain characters. I really liked Chandler and Alana's story. I thought it was great. A bit predictable, but I find that most adult romances are. I can't get enough of this authors book no matter what genre. She sure does know how to write the smexy stuff as well as the snark. This was fantastic!!
